Counselling without the long drive

Living in a rural or remote part of New Zealand can make accessing counselling more difficult.

Distance, work, family commitments and limited local services can all make regular appointments harder to arrange.

Online counselling removes the need to travel for every session.

What can we work with?

You may be looking for support with:

  • anxiety or persistent worry

  • relationship difficulties

  • emotional overwhelm

  • recurring patterns

  • difficult experiences

  • grief or life transitions

  • stress

  • a general sense that something isn't working

You don't need to have a particular diagnosis or know exactly what you need before you make contact.

How online counselling works

Sessions take place online, allowing you to speak with me from your own environment.

We begin with conversation and work from what is happening in your life.

At times, we may also pay attention to thoughts, feelings, breathing or bodily experience.

Breathwork may be used when appropriate, but it is not a requirement.

Is online counselling right for me?

For some people, online sessions are more convenient than travelling to an in-person appointment.

For others, being at home can make it easier to fit counselling around work, family or other commitments.

We can discuss whether online counselling is suitable for you during a free 10-minute consultation.
